I really pleased to say that I am finally adding products to my shop, Ty Siriol Ceramics & Crafts.
This is quite exciting as I really never believed that I would ever get round to creating my own website, let alone my own shop as well. *Pats self on the back* This really is a huge achievement for a technophobe like me. I feel like the Cheshire Cat at the moment.
Over time I will be adding a lot more to the shop. It’s very time consuming photographing everything and cropping etc before I even get to listing products. But please bare with me as I get up and running.
I will be selling a variety of products through the shop. My main pride and joy are my hand crafted ceramics that I make in my garage at home. This is what keeps the black dog away for me.
Here are a few of my ceramics for you to see. I hope you like them. The images are clickable.
A handmade ceramic pendant with stoneware effect glaze. I love this glaze and the way it picks up the pattern in the clay.
This is one of my leaf incense burners. These have been popular and this is the last one. I will have to make more of these.
Here is another one of my pendants in a lovely lime green.
I am also selling jewellery and crafting supplies for those of you who fancy trying your hand at something new. I will also be trying some new crafts out myself and posting updates for you to see how I get on. I promise that I will also let you have a laugh at the ones that don’t turn out very well as well as the successes!
These are lovely faux suede notepads that are perfect for keeping notes in your handbag. They are also a great size for keeping photos in or scrapbooking. Missy has one that she writes all her story ideas in. She’s a budding novelist. 🙂
I loved these crochet hook sets when I found them. I’ve done crochet on and off for over 30 years and the number of times I’ve had to buy new hooks because I’ve lost them is embarrassing. Having them all together in a lovely case is really useful. And the case is purple! One of my fave colours!
I’ll be adding craft kits as well over time. I’m trying to find things that are not so easy to find on the UK high street.
I have found that going back to crafting after being medically retired has really helped to fill that void. I spend a lot of time at home alone and I swear that crafts, in particular my pottery, have saved me many times from feeling isolated. So thank you Ty Siriol Ceramics & Crafts for keeping me sane! I have also met many lovely people online who have similar interests and we love to share what we are working on. So go on, give it a go!
