The problem is that no one can see that I have Coeliac’s Disease and general IBS. But when I have one of these keys on me (don’t forget when you switch handbag!) life is so much easier. I mean, it’s stressful enough eating out when you have problems not to mention painful enough, and you really don’t want to have to explain to others in the inevitable queue in the ladies toilets about your ‘toilet issues’!
Please guys, if you need a Radar key then please get one. They are only a few pounds.
I’ve added this to my bookmarks in case I need another one. When my arthritis flared badly last time it was my poor knees that got hit most badly and I couldn’t manage steps very well. In particular I couldn’t get in and out of my shower. So my brother, bless him, made me a step that fits my ensuite perfectly and matches the decor.
The other step I struggle with is into our back garden. This looks just right for that and with the anti-slip it should be ok in the rain as well, or coming out of the shower/bath for that matter!
These are so useful. I get very painful hands on times, usually with a severe flare. I am lucky that it is intermittent for me but not everyone is so lucky. Even so, when I do have pain in my hands easy grip cutlery makes eating so much easier. I even take them with me when I go out so I don’t have to get embarrassed when Missy is the one cutting up my food for me!
These are a great price too. And I love the curved handle for the spoon.
OMG! I absolutely adore stationary. I can’t be the only one. If someone is in doubt with what to get me for my birthday then a shiny pen is always good. Sadly some of my favourite pens have fallen out of favour with me in recent years.
As my hands get worse and my grip weakens it is harder and harder to write with a pen. It’s why I tend to type these days. But there are times when I really want the feel of my pen in my hand. These lovely coloured pencil grips are being added to my collection. It’s got to be done for less than £1 each!
In fact I’m even going to give them a try with my paint brushes. I prefer brushes to pencils as the brush is more forgiving on my hands but think of the finer art I could produce if I had better control! I’m getting some! The link is here if you want to join me.
iPad Tablet Cushion – OWL – beanbag stand lap pillow holder suitable for all tablets and ebook readers eBean original
Arghhh… how gorgeous are these? I love, love, love them!
I have a problem holding my tablet up to read for any length of time due to poor grip and a neck injury. My hands tingle then go dead thanks to my neck following a car accident 3 years ago. The upside… we all survived! Always look for the silver lining. I think that’s becoming my motto given the number of times I say it each week!
I’ve been looking out for a nice cushion tablet holder like these for some time. I don’t want a solid one that sits on a table but one that is snuggly, cute and sits on my lap like a friend (not that my friends actually sit on my lap!). These tablet holders are all 3!
The only problem I have now is which colour and pattern do I choose? There are so many options that you must pop by and have a look!
Well that’s all from me today. I hope that I have helped you to solve a problem or two that might be bugging you. I think I’ve solved two of mine, the pencil grips and the tablet cushion. I’ve just ordered both!
The other nice thing is that every one of these items is under £20, three of them are under £10! None of them will break the bank but each could make life that little bit more comfortable.
Love and spoons, Cath xx
Today I am grateful for:
- Finding a tablet holder that I love.
- Having hubby’s credit card linked to my Amazon account so he can pay for it! 😛
- Being able to give back to our spoonie’s community in a small way. xxx
